Hello once again everyone. I know that it has been awhile since I posted, but it would have been nothing but me moaning about how I couldn't do my exercises due to getting bitten by a red back spider ( not fun ). But as I'm all better now I have started what I call my 50 day challenge. I started on Jan 11 and will end on Feb 29. During this period I will run everyday except sunday and will do a circuit of exercises every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I'm at Day 7 already and so far everything has gone smooth and by the numbers. Also I'm on a pretty strict diet and my daily intake doesn't exceed more than 8000 kilojoules a day. I have started keeping a record of what I eat and what exercises that I do on a daily basis so I can keep track of what I have been doing. If all goes well I should hopefully be able to keep up the routine after the 50 day challenge and also start to change things up a bit.
Until next time folks!!!

Day 8: Lost...
... but having fun. So I stayed at a cousins place last night but made sure to take my running gear with me so I could run in the morning. I woke up at 5:45am, chucked my gears on and out the door I went. Now I'm not too familiar with the area (taita) other than where the shops are, but I had a general idea to run around the block. So I start running and turn a couple of corners and have no clue where I am. So I decide to keep running until i find something I recognise...which I don't find. I then decide to head for the hill line as that would lead me back to the main road and it does. I run back to the cousins house and when I check the time I had been running for a solid 40 mins without realising it. I have no idea how far I ran today, but it must have been quite a distance. So results of daily training are starting to bear fruit. I'll give it another 2 weeks then I might start doing wieghts training, what do you think?

Day 7: Taking it easy
Hello once again faithful readers! Took the exercise down a notch today and went for a long but brisk walk, mainly due to only getting 3 hours sleep last night. When I woke up I felt too tired to run. But I will make up for it tomorrow morning by trying a new running route, should be fun!
Also from friday I will be adding 1 more rep to each of my exercises and I will steadily increase it week by week.
And now for the second part of my news. In a previous blog I stated that I wanted to drop 1 kilo by tomorrow and I can gladly say that I surpassed that goal and dropped 2 kilos, woohoo! Just gotta keep going step by step, day by day.
Until next time folks!

Day 6: I...HAVE...THE...POWEEERRRRR!!!!!
It's amazing what a little willpower and determination can do. That's right folks, I reached my first goal, I ran the full 2km non-stop ( cue clapping ), Ok settle down, settle down. Now that I'm at that plateau, I'm going to try and run it twice! Yep, 4 km is going to be my next goal, but this one will probably be a little harder and take me longer than 6 days to reach.
Unfortunately I let myself down yesterday and got lazy with my food. Ate 1/2 a loaf of bread with lots of butter, and while it tasted good it does nothing for my body goals, so I chucked the butter in the bin this morning and any toast that I have from now on will be dry or some sort of healthy topping. The only way I can succeed in this endeavour is if I take myself in hand and not give in to temptation. BUT FOOD IS SO GOOD!!! I love you food! Anyway (slap on the wrist) be good Stacy!
Until next time folks!

Day 5: I think I can, I think I can...
...and I did! Woke up a full 1/2 an hour earlier than my alarm, chucked on my running gear and out the door I went. Now running 3/4 of the circuit nonstop. Getting closer to that first goal, YES! Also did a full circuit of my exercises and added one more to the mix, lunges. And now my body's grumbling "YOU FOOL! Why go through so much pain? It's easier being lazy!", but body we're going to do it whether you like it or not, so tough luck. Anywho, no change on the weight front but its only been a couple a days and I'm keeping a stiff upper lip and keep at it.
Until next time folks!

Day 4: And rest...
Short one today, no exercise, body feels broken (mainly ongoing issues with back, thinking about getting a massage) so have given myself a rest day. But be sure to tune in next time folks!
