Hey all!
I've set up this blog as a way of tracking my progress over the next few weeks and months for my goal of slimming down and toning up. Now as it currently stands I weigh in at 144 kilos and to me that is way too much. It's depressing when I think about it, but I haven't been under 120 kilos since I was 16 and I'm 25 now.
I have a short term goal of losing 5 kilos in the next 2 months and a long term goal of losing 20 kilos over the next year. My plan to begin with is to get up in the morning and go for a 2 km run in under 20 minutes, do 2 sets of 10 pressups, 2 sets of 15 situps and/or leg raises and 2 sets of 15 squats and I will gradually increase this week by week.
I've switched my diet over to having cornflakes with a banana and trim milk in the morning, chicken, vegetables and rice for lunch and poached eggs on toast for dinner, with fruit in between for snacks. On the weekend I may have a steak instead to spoil myself ( yum ).
My 2 biggest obstacles are, firstly motivation, I get unmotivated very quickly and find it hard to keep at something if I don't enjoy it, so anyone out there who decides to follow my blog please keep encouraging me, don't let me slack off because I really, really need the support. Secondly junk food, I love my junk food and I don't have very good will power when it comes to food, I likes it so much.
So yeah there we have it. Let me know what you think and if you have any advice or ideas leave me a comment.
Hoping to hear for you!

ReplyDeleteWell done cuz you can do it I believe in you.You have my full support bud :) good on you !!! you are going to do well
ReplyDeleteI'm here to support you 100% of the way. I am wondering if Mo could help in any way? I've been on her back about writing me a fitness program as I would like to build up to being able to run a half marathon. Just because the scales say less doesn't mean I am any fitter! All the best with your goal. Accountability is definitely going to help you in this race. I have a weekly diet plan for a soup diet which adds other things you can have each day. If you are interested let me know and I will send it to you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best! You can do this.
Hey Jess, yes I would love to see that diet plan, could you send a copy of it to my email? it's nemasisgamer@gmail.com
